Yu Kee is my ideal place when I'm craving for Bak Kut Teh. It is affordable and taste pretty good. In my opinion, it tastes better then most Bak Kut Teh in Klang. This restaurant is a must try if you're a bak kut teh lover.

Yu Kee Bah Kut Teh is one of the known Bah Kut Teh joint patrons from Subang and its surrounding areas go to. Thumbs up: The convenience of its location in the local SS14 neighbourhood, quick service and not bad Bah Kut Teh. The soup here is rather herbal for me, but the thickness or consistency is just nice. They have indoor and outdoor tables and seats which accomodate small and big groups, so it's a pretty great place to eat with your pals without having to travel far to places such as Klang or Damansara. My experience at Yu Kee is so far so good, I still go back there and would recommend it to others.

Yu kee is my preferred place to go for bak kut teh as it is located conveniently in subang, a place I hang out often. What differentiates them from the rest is their dry bak kut teh which is what I normally go for. It is cooked in black sauce with some chili padi so it is a little spicy but that's what I love about it. I usually order half wet and half dry to accommodate both parties as some people prefer the wet one over the dry one. To me, their normal bkt is alright, nothing too special. If you're willing to travel, there are far better ones out there. Parking there at night is pretty easy to find but if you're there for lunch parking may be a problem as there's quite a lot of office people at that area during lunch time. It gets pretty hot during lunch time as well as there's no air con however the fast service they have gets you out of there in no time.

It's impossible to drive all the way down to Klang all the time just for a good hearty bak kut teh meal so Yu Kee is usually my safest bet when it comes to decent bak kut teh. The corner shoplot in SS14 is located amongst other bak kut teh shops along the row but I always go back to this place as it's fast, affordable and more importantly the soup is good. There's always plenty of meat in one serving and you could add on additional mushrooms or taufu pok at an extra charge. They are also famous for their dry bak kut teh which is on the spicy side but I always go for their usual bak kut teh which has a strong herbal taste. The waiters here are fast and speak fluent chinese which is pretty impressive as they are foreigners. Yu Kee is always packed and if you're coming for dinner, be sure to arrive early as they can sometimes run out of certain dishes.
